Senior leader looking out over a city skyline at golden hour

Executive Coaching that changes how you lead

We work with directors, VPs and C-suite leaders across the UK through structured, confidential one-to-one coaching programmes. Each engagement is built around your real priorities: the promotion you are growing into, the team that needs a different kind of leadership, or the decision you keep postponing.

What we actually do

Most coaching websites describe their work in abstract terms. Here is what a typical engagement with us looks like in practice.

Leadership assessment and 360 feedback

We start most programmes with a thorough assessment. This includes a psychometric profile (we use the Hogan suite), a structured 360 with six to ten colleagues you choose, and a two-hour debrief session where we translate the data into three or four concrete development themes. The assessment alone typically takes two to three weeks.

One-to-one coaching sessions

Sessions run every two weeks, 75 minutes each, over video or in person at our Effertzwick office. A standard programme lasts six months (twelve sessions). Between sessions you will have a short written reflection to complete, and we keep a shared running document of commitments, observations and progress notes.

Transition coaching

Stepping into a new role is when coaching pays for itself fastest. Our 90-day transition programme is designed for leaders in their first hundred days: we map stakeholders, identify early wins, and rehearse the conversations that set the tone for the next two years. This programme includes weekly sessions for the first month, then fortnightly.

Why leaders choose us

Our lead coach, Dr. Hannah Morrell, spent fourteen years in operational leadership at two FTSE 250 companies before qualifying as a coaching psychologist. She holds a Doctorate in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck and is accredited at Senior Practitioner level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

That background matters because it means she has sat in the chair you sit in. She has managed restructurings, handled board politics, and delivered results under shareholder pressure. When you describe a situation, she does not need a long explanation of the context.

We keep our client list small on purpose. Hannah works with no more than twelve coaching clients at any given time. That cap means she has the headspace to think about your situation between sessions, not just during them.

What clients say

"I came to Hannah three weeks before starting as COO of a mid-market logistics firm. By the end of our 90-day programme I had built genuine trust with two board members who had initially opposed my appointment, and I had a clear operating rhythm that my direct reports actually respected."
— Rachel Dunmore, COO, logistics sector
"The 360 feedback process was uncomfortable. That was the point. Hannah helped me see that my 'high standards' were experienced as micromanagement by every single member of my senior team. Six months later, my engagement scores had moved from the 32nd to the 61st percentile."
— Tom Adesanya, VP of Engineering, SaaS company
